Today we are joining in with the 25th Red Nose day to raise money for Comic Relief, with everyone being encouraged to ‘wear something funny’ and lots of activities including a dance-a-thon this afternoon… Everyone has got into the spirit and there are certainly lots of very funny looking outfits around school today. Helen and her team had an unannounced visit today from the Environmental Health Agency! They inspected the kitchen for food hygiene standards and were awarded the top rating of 5 stars for the second time…
Our students who attend woodwork sessions at Myerscough returned to day with some fantastic frames that they have made. They all chose a favourite photo and then sawed, glued and stapled to create the beautiful wooden frames…

This evening, some of our older pupils took part in the annual Celebration of Dance at King George’s Hall. They had a fantastic time, dancing to ‘The Time Warp’ and ‘Gangnam Style’…

Fundraising for Comic Relief began today with with red noses monsters invading our website, and the pupils of TG7 rolling up their sleeves and putting on their aprons to bake Mary Berry’s famous carrot cake muffins. There was not a soggy bottom in sight!

This morning we held our RRSA in which the steering group pupils had written, planned, organised and then performed. They acted out a sereis of sketches illustrating children’s rights, and asked the audience whether these rights were being respected or not…
