Today we joined others across the country in celebrating the lovely Captain Tom. His family asked for people to join in completing 100 of a different activity in celebration of what would be his 101st Birthday and in remembrance of his efforts in raising money for the NHS last year through his 100 laps of his garden. We’ve had a fun week, with some nice spring weather that has meant children have been able to spend more time outdoors - doing lots of playing as well as Easter egg hunts! During the Easter holidays some staff are coming to school to develop the grounds in the sensory garden - we’ve had some donations, but if you know anyone or want to donate a bag of soil some plants, seeds or anything nice for our garden, please get in touch!

Children have enjoyed sensory Easter Events this week in both areas of school and it has been a nice way to do some fun activities, like Egg hunts and games as we wind down to the holidays. They have had egg and spoon events, they have chosen paint and dripped it onto egg shapes before dragging a squeegee through the paint to make a marble effect.
