2-11 Weather Fashion Show

In our creative curriculum this half term we have been exploring materials and their properties. We based all our activities in class around the weather and have been looking at which materials are best for waterproofs for the rain, streamers and kites for the wind, protective materials for the sun and reflective and bright materials for the dark winter nights.

We finished off this theme with a fantastic fashion show! All the pupils have worked hard to find out which the best materials were to make costumes and props for the show. We enjoyed lots of great lively songs and dancing, saw some super signing and were even treated to a story and drama about the rain. Some of our parents and carers attended too and it was absolutely fabulous!
