Tutor group four planned and made a meal to celebrate Valentine’s Day. All the pupils took part in preparing the meal by peeling potatoes, crushing biscuits, whipping cream or chopping strawberries. They chose from a range of options finally deciding on either roast chicken, sausages in gravy or fresh salmon all with carrots, broccoli and heart shaped mashed potato. Dessert was a chocolate cheesecake with strawberry coulis. They also made table and wall decorations. They wore their party clothes and there was a lovely romantic atmosphere. Love was certainly in the air and everyone had a great time during their fine dining experience.
