Joining in with Sign2Sing!

Today we performed our sign2sing song at 2.55pm. The whole school joined together signing and singing – we made a fabulous sound! We have been practicing the song for a few weeks and everybody wore stripes and brought in a pound to donate to the charity sign health. Earlier this year we became Guinness World Record Breakers, 116,980 children sang and signed the same song, at the same time across multiple locations. Now in its fourth year, sign2sing has become a major national fundraising initiative involving over 300,000 primary school children and adults in over 1,000 schools in the UK and abroad. SignHealth, the healthcare charity for vulnerable deaf children and adults, is aiming to inspire future generations of doctors, nurses, lawyers, healthcare workers and others, to learn sign language.
