Today we are celebrating Chinese New Year, with our old friend George Ho and the Lion Dance workshops. Some children have come dressed up to join in with the dancing and drumming sessions in which all children will be having fun throughout the day. We have decorated the atrium and the hall, with lucky red lanterns as well as artwork created by the children for 2014 - Year of the Horse - George judged the art competition during the afternoon and awarded prizes to Classes 3&4, TG7 and R5 for their fantastic horse themed pictures and mobiles. Helen and the kitchen staff created a Chinese banquet for lunch, complete with prawn crackers which lots of the children really enjoyed! So, Kung Hei Fat Choi to everyone! And thank you to George Ho and his apprentice from the Tiger and Crane Kung Fu academy.
