This week we have been looking at Fair Trade and what that means in classes and have been preparing for the Bake Off competition held this afternoon. Pupils have learnt about farmers being paid a fair price for their products and have looked at food and other items available - and how we can spot the fair trade items by looking for the logo! Classes have each made a creation, using at least one fair trade ingredient, for our bake off and what a selection we’ve seen!

We wanted to try something new for takeover week this year, so arlier in the week we ran a sensory takeover session. Pupils enjoyed activities to simulate a range of jobs in school – school cooks, site team and the Nurses.
