Bridget Collinge

Bridget has worked as a Primary School teacher for many years, teaching in all year groups both in mainstream and specialist provisions.

Having found her passion in working with children with additional needs, she now feels lucky to work as an Advisory Teacher for Blackburn with Darwen Council Early Years Specialist Support Service.

Bridget is proud to be a Governor in what she call ‘this amazing school’ and hopes to use her knowledge and understanding of working within classrooms and leadership to support the development of Newfield.

Bridget sits on the Education & Standards committee and has a designated responsibility for Personal, Social & Emotional Development and Behaviour & Attitudes.
