Parent Consultation

We believe that working closely with parents is crucial to deliver the best service we can to our children and ensure that they make the best possible progress in all areas of their lives.

We encourage parents to contact us whenever they wish, whether they need support and advice, would like to discuss their child and their needs, or simply to find out how they are doing in school.

We also hold a parent consultation afternoon for each department every term, during which time your child’s class teacher will liaise with you to find a convenient time for you to come into school, or if you prefer, for you to meet over TEAMS or the telephone.

Our Family Wellbeing Coordinators will also be available to discuss any support issues you may have at these events.

Safeguarding

Newfield School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults as its number one priority.

Full copies of Policies and Procedures related to all aspects of Safeguarding, and the Complaints Policy, are available on request from Rachel Kay, Head Teacher and Designated Senior Lead for Safeguarding and Child Protection.
