This morning we held our annual leavers assembly for the Class of 2026, and also said goodbye to some of our staff.
The assembly was very well attended by families of our leavers, and there were lots of tears, as well as laughter.
We enjoyed seeing photos of all of the accomplishments of the students during their time at Newfield - ranging from 2 years to 15!
Each leaver came up to collect their ASDAN Award as well as a lovely framed moment of their time with us which includes photographs and comments and well wishes from staff, and there was lots of clapping, cheering and celebrating of our amazing people.
It is always sad to see our young people leave school after spending so many days learning, laughing and growing together - but we are hopeful for their futures and wish them very happy lives.
We again had a few staff leaving - some for happy retirements after 26 years at Newfield, others going on to new jobs, and even one going to start teaching training, having been inspired to do so working here supporting our children.
We wish a very happy summer to everyone in the Newfield Family, and we look forward to sharing our adventures with you all in September.
