On Friday, our weekly swimming slot at Darwen Leisure centre had to be cancelled for S3 and other classes.
We all love swimming, and it was such a nice day, so if we decided that if we can’t go to the pool then we will have to bring the pool to us!
Teacher, Helen Thomas got her paddling pools out and everyone got changed into their swimming kits.
It was so much fun and everyone got wet through but it didn’t matter because they had dressed appropriately.
It has been such a lovely day and one we will remember - a surprise pool party!
The classes ate lunch al fresco and then all went back into the paddling pools.
Everyone involved had a brilliant time and all were belly laughing - they have definitely been doing physically active learning today!
