Physically Active Learning

We’ve been making the most of the nice weather and using our bodies to take part in learning inside and outside of school.

Class 8 enjoyed taking their maths session outside as part of their physically active learning. They enjoyed jumping on different shapes and stating how many sides they have, finding and drawing shapes in their environment and tracing round objects to find out what shape they were.

As part of their garden party theme, C12 have been exploring mini beasts.

They have made mini beast crafts using egg boxes and paper plates, sorted them into categories, decorated ladybird biscuits, manipulated play dough into mini beasts and we have been outside looking for them and watching them move in different ways.
