Red Nose Day 2026

Today we joined in the fun and games in the Comic Relief Red Nose Day fundraising event which has been going on since 1988. Everyone came to school in their own clothes - and the focus was having on something red of course!

As well as activities in classes, we had lots going on all around school including:

  • A Cake stall in the Wainwright Hall for staff and children where we were invited to go and buy a cake/biscuit/drink and sit and socialise with friends, and maybe tell a joke or two.
  • A Red themed hunt- There were 8 pictures stuck up around school, for pupils to tick them off as they find them. Additionally on each picture there was a letter, for us to collect the letters and see what word it spells out.
  • In the Studios there was a Sensory Red experience. Students enjoyed the activities in there - pinning the nose on the teachers and copying the red scarf dance.

In the afternoon, there were celebration assemblies and discos.

We had our own donation page, so if you would still like to donate to Comic Relief, please visit the link.

Thanks to everyone for organising and taking part in such a fun day!
