MOVE Day 2025

Today we had our annual MOVE day, and this year we celebrated all things physical with StoryMOVErs living out the stories - ‘Going on a bear hunt’ and ‘Tiger who came for tea’.

Children had an amazing time showing off their physical skills, it was lots of fun!

For the Bear hunt we listened to the story and swished and rolled through leaves and grass, played with menthol fake snow, crawled in a sensory bear cave, stomped our wellies in shaving foam, tripped over bumpy ground, squelched in sloppy sand, rode our trikes through wind and rain and hid under blankets.

For the Tiger who came for tea we listened to the story and did tiger roars in microphones, tiger dress-up, prepared tea and tidied the kitchen, used cleaning equipment and tried on coats.

It was a real celebration of the hard work our MOVE children do to develop all of their physical skills, and it was great to have parents join us to see what we have been doing throughout the year.

Thanks to all involved, and especially our HLTA Aimie for setting up the activities and event.
