Jamie Oliver Cookery School World Record Attempt

This morning, 4 classes of students took part in a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest cookery lesson with Jamie Oliver.

There were estimated to be around 15,000 people joining in online to make a pasta dish.

We followed the live cooking session to make pasta shapes out of the dough and made a fresh sauce.

We chopped up fresh tomatoes, grated garlic gloves, added fresh basil and olive oil.

Once the pasta was cooked, we added it to the sauce and finished the dish off with parmesan cheese.

We all had a great time together, following along and creating a healthy dish to eat which was delicious!

Update - 09/07/25 from Jamie Oliver WOW — what a fantastic achievement! Together, we smashed the Guinness World Records™ title for the largest cookery lesson (in multiple venues) — and we are record breakers!

Drumroll, please. The final numbers are in… 10,515 cooks, across 6 continents and 42 countries helped smash the record!

We couldn’t have done this without your passion, energy, and love for food. Whether you were chopping, stirring, or tasting, you helped make history!
