Secondary Residential - CAFT 2025

Today our students from our secondary department went on their residential trip to the Children’s Activity Farm Trust in Cheshire.

They boarded the coach and went off with their luggage, staff and lots of excitement.

They will be there for the rest of this week and will be sleeping over and developing independence skills - a new experience for many.

Once they arrived, they had a picnic lunch then enjoyed time in the open fields, visiting the animals including alpacas, donkeys and horses and explored the farm.

Some enjoyed ice cream and lollies and visited the sand pits, park area and had a go on the zip wire!

In the evening they enjoyed an open camp fire where they toasted marshmallows.

They were all worn out quite early, and got ready for bed, and settled for the night - ready to have a good sleep after all the excitement and fresh air, ready for another day of adventure tomorrow.
