Meaningful May

We take wellbeing really seriously in school, and enjoy reflecting on our calendars, to think of ways to make sure we take time to look after our mental health. This month - Meaningful May - has started with lots of lovely weather.

Classes have had a joint fun paddling pool session with water fights and lots of splashing.

The children had lots of fun and played nicely together.

In the community, some students from S4 enjoyed their Spring visit to the park this week.

Some of then worked on their targets of walking on uneven ground and did really well, then they all enjoyed their snacks before heading back to school.

Meanwhile in school, S3 have been learning about what PPE a scientist needs to wear when working in a lab.

They talked about the different things and the parts of the body that the equipment protected.

They tried everything on and became real scientists themselves.

What a brilliant start to Summer!
