Yesterday we wished all members of the Newfield Family Eid Mubarak!
Lots of our families had a wonderful time at home celebrating, and today we brought the Eid celebrations into school.
We had stations set up in our halls - Henna hand painting, a selfie photo booth, a rice and ribbon table where children could explore in sensory trays and find the stars and moons, salt dough to make shapes of stars and moons, and finger paint dot to dot images linked to Eid.
Some groups made the mini mosques using the templates and turned them into little gift baskets for pupils to take home Eid biscuits, after exploring the stations in the hall.
Our children were treated to a delicious curry lunch followed by star spicy biscuits, and then had a great afternoon joining in Eid discos and dancing away.
