Secondary WoW - Branching Out

The beautiful sunshine saw lots of us venturing out today. as we welcomed Branching Out to school for the Secondary department WOW event.

There were lots of activities set up outside from our provider and students had a fantastic time. As you can see from the map, activities were all around the school grounds, ranging from working on a fire pit and toasting marshmallows or bread making, squirrel arrow/memory trail, shelter building, sensory trail, making pinecone bird feeders and lots more!

All of the activities encouraged team building, problem solving and communication skills as well as encouraging learners independence.

We saw some fabulous reactions and some real determination from our children.

Students took part in the various outdoor learning activities and had a great time engaging fully with the activities and instructors.

It was a very successful event - thanks to everyone involved.

It was such a wonderful day - all pupils accessed it really well and we all had so much fun!
