Ten Pin Bowling Superstars

Following our Key Stage 3 involvement and success in the Local Panathlon Ten Pin bowling competitions in December, one of the four Newfield School teams, with the highest score, qualified to compete in the Lancashire Special School County finals, representing Newfield school, BwD.

Today, our 6 KS3 representatives and accompanying staff, have taken part in the event at Hollywood Bowl, Bolton against other Secondary Special Schools in Lancashire.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to shine and represent our school.

The students were impeccably behaved and really enjoyed the event.

One of our students won the top 3 award for getting 100 points. He received a special certificate in recognition.

Although we were not winners in the competition we were 4th out of 6 other secondary schools at the event- our students tried their best and that’s all that matters to us - they are superstars!

WELL DONE TEAM NEWFIELD and also a big THANK YOU to the staff who helped it happen and Panathlon for organising the event.
