Christmas Fair 2024

This morning we celebrated our annual Christmas fair and were delighted to welcome so many visitors - parents and families, former staff, partners from other local agencies and the local authority and many friends of the Newfield Family.

We were joined by the Mayor of Blackburn Councillor Brian Taylor, along with one of his Mayoresses - his daughter Emma, who just happens to be a former Newfield teacher - so we were thrilled to catch up with her and show the Mayor around Newfield.

We were also joined for the first of his annual visits by the big man himself - Father Christmas - who with assistance from his elf spread some magic in his grotto to all of the children.

There were lots of stalls selling items that children have been busy making, ranging from decorations, treats, plants and gifts. There were also a number of raffles and games - and a cake stall and cafe which did a roaring trade and was the focal point for lots of conversations and laughter.

We all had a fantastic time and were really pleased with all the hard work raising a huge £1512 for the School Fund which is absolutely amazing.

Thanks to everyone who attended or contributed to another very special fair!
