Friendship Week 2024

This week we have been celebrating friendship all over school.

On Wednesday our RRSA group met for their half termly meeting.

TG3 have made some paper flowers and made little chocolate bags, which they passed out to some of their friends.

Today in C3 Dolphins children have worn odd socks (on our feet and our hands) representing how we are all different on odd socks day! They have also painted poppies, made chocolate cornflake cakes and enjoyed a sensory session with our friends even tidying up together at the end.

C6 have been spending time together, exploring activities relating to Chiang mai hi peng lantern festival, which is a lantern festival in Thailand. They have practiced choosing colours, dabbing paint and requesting tools and lantern shapes to make beautiful pictures.

At the end of the day, TG2 gave out the friendship bracelet they made this week for friendship week.

We are all friends at Newfield and we all enjoying spending time together with friends in our class and around school, learning, laughing and loving our time together.
