Today we had 2 special assemblies to remember all the soldiers who fought in wars to keep us safe.
We sang a song called ‘light a candle for peace’ that we had practised signing to and everyone joined in.
All of the classes have made beautiful poppy wreaths and artworks, and each class sent children forward to lay them at the on screen monument.
We sat quietly and then teacher Anna played the last post on her trumpet.
We have kept the beautiful poppy artworks and placed them around our community tree - it looks lovely.
