Planning for the Future - Transition Event 24

Today, we held our annual Transition Event – Many of our parents joined us for an event which is gaining in popularity each year.

We were pleased to host 28 local service providers, who each offer something different and exciting for our young people when they reach adulthood.

We were delighted to have so many parents and carers join us to talk to the may professionals ranging from colleges, adult social care, leisure, care providers, charities and much more.

It was great to meet some of the people benefitting from the services who were able to tell parents about their experiences.

Students from Newfield and Valley College also helped with delivering a great programme for all, which included refreshments and opportunities to network and chat.

Thanks to all involved and to our Family Wellbeing Coordinators who did a fantastic job of organising the very popular event, supporting our young people and their families towards a successful life beyond Newfield.
