National Teaching Assistant of the Year Award

One of our staff, HLTA Sharon received a lovely surprise this afternoon and did get a bit emotional! She had been nominated for the National Teaching Assistant of the Year award, and was surprised with a certificate and lovely bunch of flowers.

Sharon’s ability to infuse fun into her teaching not only engages students but also fosters a love for learning. This positivity encourages students to participate actively and take pride in their achievements.

She takes the time to listen to each pupil, understanding their unique needs, strengths, and challenges.

She also gives her time, energy and support to families and to staff.

We love all of our staff and celebrated our support teams earlier in the week, so today it was lovely to have one of us recognised for being amazing - Well done!
