As part of the ‘Festivals and light’ theme C6 have been looking at different light sources, including the sun and the moon.
They have completed moon pictures using chalk to colour in the moon and then practising their fine motor skills with peel and stick stars.
In S3 they have been learning about volcanoes in their topic - learning about geographical features
Hakeem said > ‘’inside the volcano there is hot lava‘’ Finlay said > ‘That’s called an eruption’’
They made erupting volcanoes using plant pots, shaving foam and paint – it was a bit messy but very fun !
They then followed a set of instructions to create a volcano picture.
