Wellbeing Breakfast - EHCA Appreciation Day

Today we celebrated our fantastic support staff on Education, Health and Care Assistant Appreciation Day - starting with a wellbeing breakfast for staff before the school day began.

Staff were treated to tea, coffee, juices, toast, crumpets and bagels. It was another great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and share some positive vibes, ready for a busy day ahead with the children.

Classes had made little banners celebrating every single EHCA in school and teachers had written a ‘shout out’ to their brilliant team members to thank them personally for everything that they do - these will be displayed in staff lounges to brighten everyone’s day!

There was also a wellbeing raffle organised by our Wellbeing Warriors, who also served the breakfast to their colleagues - staff were delighted to get lucky and win a nice treat, there were loads of prizes ranging from chocolate, perfume, makeup, candles, pens and all kinds of self care goodies.

We value our staff enormously… they work hard, care lots and give so much to the Newfield Family - so it’s fab to treat them occasionally!

Thanks to everyone who came to the well being breakfast and thanks to the helpers this morning – you are all superstars! And a huge thank you to all staff – we perhaps don’t say it enough but you all make a world of difference to your teams and most importantly our children.
