Jeans for Genes 24

Today we have had a great day celebrating our first charity fundraiser of the year - Jeans for Genes day.

Everyone wore denim and paid a donation to support this worthy charity close to our hearts, looking to support genetic illnesses.

There was lots going on around school, including the ‘Potters Cafe and Tuck Shop’ run by post 16 students - this week was their first and was raising money for charity, but it will be a weekly event.

Children around school enjoyed doing jeans themed art work.

Class 1 having been playing together today in a fab friendships group.

TG1 enjoyed a lovely autumn morning in the sensory garden, making the most of the sunshine and enjoying the fresh air.

Everyone looked great and we had plenty of pupils busting some moves in our ‘dance in your denim’ section of our assembly this afternoon!

We have had lots of donations on our Jeans for Genes Just Giving page and it’s not too late to show your support by clicking the link and giving as much or as little as possible - every penny makes a difference!

Thanks to everyone for a fun-filled day of denim!
