Staff came back to school on Monday for 2 days of training, with some new staff having more training as part of induction to school throughout the week.
Everyone was relaxed after the summer holidays and raring to go!
Staff took part in training in Moving and Handling, Disability Awareness, Phonics, Regulation Support, Diabetes Management, Makaton and more!
We really value our staff and we want to ensure that they have the skills required to do the best possible job for our fantastic children in terms of care, supporting learning and enabling communication and independence.
After 2 days training at the start of the week, as well as preparing classrooms, we were all very excited to see our pupils coming back with big smiles on Wednesday, ready for another amazing Newfield year of learning.
