Today we took 10 pupils to Hothersall Lodge, Outdoor Education centre in Longridge Lancashire, for an extended day where they had the opportunity to experience some outdoor adventurous activities like climbing, water sports, orienteering and gull scrambling.
The children were amazing and when faced with all these new experiences they had a go and in some cases excelled at it.
It is always so nice to see our amazing children demonstrate their independence, confidence and resilience in new settings and they were so polite, excited and good at listening to and following the instructions of the expert instructors.
Well done to the young people who attended and thank you to the staff who gave up their own time to share this day with them enabling them to stay till 5pm.
