Prom 2024

Tonight we held our annual Prom for our post 16 students - it is always a very special night, particularly for our leavers and their families.

The theme this year was Aladdin’s Arabian Nights and the halls were turned into a magical cavern of luxurious fabrics, soft lights and glistening gold and jewel treasures.

The highlight for many was the set from DJ Sam Flanagan - he came to Newfield and got everyone in the mood to celebrate and then a number of our leavers had a go on the decks and got the crowd really going!

The guests enjoyed the full magic red carpet treatment, a photo booth, and a delicious meal.

The leavers video montage was delightful, bringing laughter and tears as we celebrated our wonderful young people. Each of the class of 2024 received a special T-shirt and ornament as a memento of their special evening.

It was another really magical evening and all of the pupils, families and staff that attended had a really wonderful time.

Thanks to everyone who came, all of the staff who made decorations, supported on the night, made and contributed to the film, turned the halls into an exotic venue, prepared and served the meal - and then tidied it all up ready for school tomorrow!
