Secondary pupils have been learning all about the Romans - they have had experiences of marching, building and eating like Romans - they have learnt lots of new knowledge and skills and practised their writing skills to recount their adventures.
Today, S2 and S5 went to the Roman Museum at Ribchester where they had a fantastic day exploring the resources, dressing up and looking at the genuine artefacts.
Ribchester was once a Roman cavalry fort and settlement of Bremetenacum Veteranorum.
They then went to the park and had lunch and played on the equipment - they all had a fantastic day.
On their return to school they wrote all about the adventure and you can see below their hard work.
