Today we had our fundraising event using Bag2School to recycle and reuse pre-loved clothes, and raise money for our RRSA link school orphanage in Kenya.
The students helped to weigh and load up the Bag2School van and did a fantastic job!
Thanks to the donations of bags of old clothes sent into school from families of pupils and staff, we collected 140kg of items, which will earn us approx £56.
We will receive a cheque in the next couple of weeks and we will put this towards the money that we raise for Love for Kenya to provide the children with items for school - this is part of the work that our steering group do towards us being a UNICEF accredited Rights Respecting School.
