International Day of Happiness 2024

Today is International Day of Happiness, as delegated by the United Nations. As you know, every day at Newfield is a day filled with happiness - we hope you’ve had a happy day today!

Class 5 went on their weekly outreach visit to Appletrees today and played in the sunshine in the lovely gardens, making use of the playground equipment and bikes - they certainly had a happy day!

Class 1 at Shad were happy making tomato soup and making red pictures!

S5 were all very happy writing their diaries about looking after the chicks last week for Science week.

TG2 had lots of fun at the new Witton adventure park.

The United Nations tells us that - ‘Happy societies are healthier, more productive, and more peaceful’ - so let’s all make sure that we play our part in making Newfield, Blackburn and beyond happy places!
