Science Week 2024 - Animals

This week we are celebrating Science Week in school and we have some exciting activities happening.

We have a Chick Experience - all week, with 3 tiny chicks showing us how quickly they grow and teaching children all the things that they need to take care of them - including gentle hands!

Today we had Emily’s Farm Small Animals join us with a tortoise, a huge rabbit, guinea pigs and a hen!

At the end of the week we will be celebrating and sharing all of our learning experiences at the ‘Science Fair Wow Event’.

Here are a few photos of our chicks and our small animals - along with our children and some fabulous expressions!

After S4 had visited the chicks they played a chick matching game in class, everyone did a great job finding the chicks on their picture dice.
