Today marked the launch of our Cook Stars lunchtime cooking club, funding via the BwD Food Grant, to help young people look at how to be healthy and feed themselves good food.
Carrie Ann visited our school to conduct a session where students had the opportunity to craft their own Tomato and Basil Tart!
Carrie Ann supplied all the necessary ingredients and equipment, empowering each student to exercise their independence by creating their individual tarts.
After cooking, the students were delighted to take home neatly packaged tarts to savour.
Furthermore, each student received a recipe card to enable them to replicate their culinary masterpiece at home.
The event was a resounding success, and we eagerly anticipate next week’s session!
