Today our oldest students set up our termly pop-up stall at Blackburn Market, selling a range of Christmas goods that children thought out school have made.
It was a bit chilly, but very festive and the market was packed so we were able to get selling!
We had some of our families pop into the market who were delighted to see their young people talking to customers, making sales and collecting the money.
We had lots of customers and made over £85 which will be used for activities around developing the independence of the learners - travel training, accessing leisure facilities and lots more.
Back in school, they counted the cash and then locked it into the safe - what a fantastic morning’s work!
