Jeans for Genes Day 2023

Today we had our first fundraising event of the year, and it’s one of our favourite charities as it is so close to our hearts for many of our families.

We celebrated Jeans for Genes day by wearing our jeans and paying £1. Teacher Shannon had organised a ‘Dance in your Denim’ event in the hall during our normal assembly times and there was a Colouring / Art competition where pupils had to design their own pair of jeans, or decorate a doughnut - ‘go donuts for denim’.

Winners got a fab Jeans for Genes T-shirt!

We think everyone looked great in their denim and we had another busy, fun day and raised our first bit of charity money for this year for Jeans for Genes day! Thanks to all involved!

If you would like to donate to the special Newfield Jeans for Genes page - please donate by clicking the link.

Altogether we’ve raised £146.
