11-19 Celebration of Achievement Assembly 2023

This morning we held our annual celebration of achievement assembly to reflect on the special accomplishments of children over this academic year.

We are such a big school now that we have to have 2 assemblies and today was the turn of our older pupils, our leavers and their families.

Prizes were awarded in the areas of progress & achievement, courage and special mentions.

Head teacher Rachel led the assembly and our special guest was Jo Siddle, BwD Children’s Services Director, who presented each of the awards.

We are very proud of all of our young people, and those who received awards today were clearly delighted with the recognition of their efforts, as were their families.

Rachel read a poignant poem about our children and then Jo finished the assembly thanking the families for all of their support for school and telling staff and pupils that they are ‘…simply the best!’ - we totally agree!.

Everyone enjoyed taking photos and then having a chat and a coffee at the end of the celebration.
