Summer Trips 2023 - part VII

The last of our summer trips have taken place this week.

We’ve all had a lot of fun visiting different places and trying out new things with our class mates and staff.

Class 6 went on their class trip to Boomerang multi-sensory centre in Bury. The children played in ball pools and went into some lovely interactive rooms with rope lights and bubble tubes.

We had lots of smiles and giggles from everyone it was really lovely to see!

S4 enjoyed another trip to the park and had lots of fun.

Pupils from A Stars, A1 and A2 enjoyed a fun filled morning at Temple of Fun Play Centre in Darwen.

Pupils enjoyed climbing, sliding, jumping and exploring the soft play area and also had time to enjoy the sensory room, which was a more calm and relaxed area.

The soft play area gave us lots of sensory integration opportunities and pupils seemed to particularly enjoy the ball pool and the slide.

We also had a snack of crisps or chocolate.

All the pupils made Newfield very proud especially as for some pupils this was their first experience of going on the school bus.
