CAFT Residential 23 - day 3

The final day of our year 8 residential today… and a bit more chilled out today!

All students were just a bit tired and took a bit longer to get up. It didn’t matter - we had a very lovely relaxed breakfast, went to see the animals and some baby piglets that we hadn’t seen before.

The bouncy castle slide was a massive favourite so we did that again and spent time in the sensory room and hangout.

We have had the most amazing time!

It has been an absolute privilege to spend these past few days with the students and staff.

Watching the friendships develop, confidence grow and students learning to be more independent has been fantastic.

We all want to do it again! Thank you so much CAFT - it has been amazing!

And a huge thank you to our Assistant Head Lois for organising and staff Louise, Mel, Malissa and Sharon for leaving their families to support our brilliant students have this great residential visit… and thanks also to the many other staff who supported visiting, driving and making sure it went ahead.

They all arrived back at school a bit tired, very happy and full of exciting stories to tell about their great adventure.
