This afternoon for our science lesson, S1 have been continuing to learn about solids, liquids and gases.
They did an experiment to turn a liquid (cream) into a solid. They all had fun shaking the jar and after about 20 minutes it turned into butter.
Then they tried to blow up a balloon using gas from a bottle of lemonade.
They shook it a little to make it fizz and enjoyed watching the balloon inflate.
They had great fun and of course had to taste the lemonade and the butter afterwards!
