Today the students from the RRSA and school council helped organise the clothes we have collected for our Bag2School event.
The man came with the van and our children heaved all the bags outside!
He weighed all the clothes donated and explained we had a huge 208kg of clothes, which means that we have raised £104.00.
He explained the clothes are all sorted in Dubai then sent to different places in Africa for people who need clothes.
The monies raised will be sent to our link school orphanage in Kenya, Kings Highway School, where they will be able to spend money on school equipment and resources, so not only do the clothes get reused, but the money does good too!
Thanks to everyone for the kind donations.
