Little Lancashire Village

This morning, pupils from S1 and S3 visited the Little Lancashire Village role play centre in Darwen as part of their ‘Shops and Enterprise’ topic. They were very excited to go out and all enjoyed playing in all sorts of different shops and places.

There was a laundrette, an airport, a tea room and a supermarket to name just a few.

They delivered letters and parcels to the different shops and completed a shop scavenger hunt to find all the different places in the role play centre.

We had a wonderful morning and everyone really enjoyed themselves using their imagination to have fun with their friends!

Thank you to teacher Shannon for organising and the BwD transport team for helping us to get there - we really appreciate it.
