Children's Mental Health Week 2023 - day 2

To celebrate day 2 of CMHW 23, this morning Aimie and Louise were running a Wellbeing MOVE session in the SEND halls.

There were lots of games, dancing, stretching, bikes & football and we had the pod set up to give some chilled vibes!

All MOVE pupils were welcome and as a treat were invited to bring a friend too, along with their staff partners.

They all loved having a chance to hang out with someone from a different class or meet up with their BFF!

We’ve been thinking about the theme ‘Let’s Connect’ and all pupils, staff and visitors have been asked to make a link for our giant paper chain which you can see being connected in the photo below - we will be displaying this very soon!

In Class 5, students working with HLTA Sharon decided what they wanted to do for their well being.

Some of the students enjoyed a foot spa and massage in class today to take part in children’s mental health week.

Some wanted to play games with their friends and others used the computer - everyone did something they enjoyed and everyone was very happy.

Armaan loved cuddling with the bear that Carly kindly gave him!

We hope that you get some time to do something to connect to others and that makes you happy this Children’s Mental Health Week!
