More Science... and Weather!

As our half term draws to an end pupils have continued to investigate and take part in lots of scientific learning.

Pupils in S1 have been thinking about their bodies and how to keep healthy.

They enjoyed making fruit kebabs in class when they were looking at healthy and unhealthy foods.

They tried lots of yummy snacks some of which were unhealthy and some were healthy snacks. They practised communication skills to say which they preferred and to make choices.

S4 enjoyed a messy science lesson this week, learning about different weather types.

They made rain clouds from foam and rainbows from water and sweets!

There was lots of concentration using their fine motor and concentration skills. There were lots of laughs too!

They finished the session singing and signing a colourful rainbow song.

In Class 2 they were exploring real weather - They wore wellies and went outside to splash in puddles. Jake took splashing to a new level!

They used umbrellas to keep us dry and had lots of fun in the rain as part of their learning about the weather.
