Well it’s got very cold and frosty this week and everywhere is turing into a glistening winter wonderland. On Tuesday, believe it or not, we had 3 roe deer wandering around our school site early in the morning! We believe they live on Queen’s Park and thankfully, we all stayed in until nature had helped them find their way back to their habitat - can you spot them in the photo at the bottom?
Children have had lots of fun this week doing art and craft Christmas activities including decorating classroom doors. We’ve got giant Santas, Rudolph’s, Trees and more.. and some children had fun trying Santa hats on.
Some of our oldest students have been visiting a fantastic farm in Bolton by Bowling - Ark Education Barn this half term - and what a lovely time they had this week, their last time. It was freezing cold, but beautiful and sunny and they enjoyed wrapping up warm and spending time with the animals again. In the photos you can see the gang with an alpaca, goats and guinea pigs!
They have really enjoyed cooking soup from scratch every Tuesday and then taking it to the farm for lunch on Wednesdays, after they have been working hard developing lifeskills and animal care.
