Today students across the school were invited to take part in our annual harvest assemblies.
This morning the pupils from the primary age phases shared an assembly with their parents, learning the importance of sharing what we have with the story stone soup.
This afternoon our secondary and post 16 students shared an assembly where we had a samba lesson, explored the origins of civilisation, and looked at how we show kindness.
Pupils were invited to help fill the food bank collection as we meditated on the theme.
Thanks to teacher Greg Sharples for organising and leading the assemblies - assisted by Erin! - and thanks to all who contributed to our food collection which we are donating to Blackburn Foodbank.
