Outreach Visits & Visitors

We believe that visits out in the community, as well as having guests come into school to work with us, are really important parts of our curriculum offer to children.

Today we were delighted to welcome back Stonyhurst students, who will be joining us each week to support wheelchair dancing.

The students had all chosen this option following the success of the link last year, they were very enthusiastic and had a great time interacting with all of the children.

Our songs all have ‘countries’ in the title which is part of our theme this term…it is proving very popular with the children and staff alike.

Earlier in the week on Tuesday, S5 pupils enjoyed their first community visit when they went shopping in Tesco.

Everyone brought a list and some money to buy items for their families.

They all took turns to scan their groceries on the self checkout and enjoyed the trip out.

If you see us out and about, or want to come in to see us, we’d, love to interact with you, so let us know!
