Education Health & Care Assistant Appreciation Day 2022

Today we celebrated all the amazing work our teaching assistants do in school - our EHCAs work so hard to support learning and meet health and every other need for our special children, so we wanted to look after they wellbeing, thank them and make them feel special too!

We joined up with our friends and colleagues for coffee and cake during their break time - they are a great team who work very hard and bring so much fun and enrichment to the children.

The EHCAs also enjoyed posing for photos in silly disguises and frames - can you recognise who’s who?!

We also had a chocolate raffle.

Classes had made certificates, shout outs and bunting to tell everyone how brilliant their class team is and why - we’ll put these up around school to tell everyone!

The winners of the chocolate raffle are Anser, Gina, Miriam, June and Paula.

Thanks to our kitchen team for making the delicious cakes and special thanks to HLTA Sharon Reid for organising, hosting and supporting children to serve the treats to the staff on this special day.
